New York City
Beginning February 22, 2026, employers must provide an additional 32 hours of unpaid safe and sick leave to covered employees—beyond existing ESSTA requirements.
Connecticut
Starting January 1, 2026, employers with 11 or more employees must provide paid sick leave accrued at one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually.
