Florida’s minimum wage increases to $14/hour on September 30, 2025. In the District of Columbia, tipped employees will see a wage increase to $12/hour starting October 1, 2025, with the tip credit dropping to $5.95. - Employee Scheduling Updates
Starting July 1, 2025, Chicago has raised its wage threshold for covered employees to $32.60/hour or $62,561.90 annually. Maine’s new reporting pay law, effective September 24, 2025, requires employers to pay staff for canceled or reduced shifts. - Wage and Payment Changes
Missouri has repealed its newly enacted paid sick leave law, effective August 28, 2025.
